Vijay Narayanan
Vijay Narayanan is a professional music composer and singer with over 15 years of experience composing music and lending his voice to leading music directors, particularly in the Tamil Film Industry.
He is a well-known vocalist and voice trainer with an international reputation. As a researcher, administrator, and performer, he has a multifaceted personality. He has studied and researched voice modulation extensively, developing many unique techniques to improve voice quality and eliminate various voice-related issues. He has created a number of unique techniques and exercises to help singers develop a wider range and a more flexible voice.
He was an associate of A R Rahman before moving into independent music direction, and he has worked as a freelancer with maestro Ilayaraja, Vidyasagar, and many others, including Yuvan Shankar Raja, Harris Jeyaraj, and Devi Sri Prasad. Now, Vijay is scoring music for two Tamil films, 'Kanri' and another unnamed film with a top star cast, as well as directing an album on international peace promoting a South Indian reality show singer. Vijay has progressed to become an independent Music Director in the Tamil Film Industry, with his most recent songs for the film 'Pallipparuvathile' receiving positive feedback on social media across the country and from music fans worldwide. At the audio launch, veteran actor Kamal Hassan and Oscar winner AR Rahman both applauded the music.
While Vijay Narayanan is the pivot of Voice of Vaani, his brother, Bharathwaj, who learned voice culture and music from Vijay, is a dedicated educator who spreads knowledge and trains students at Voice of Vaani.
Vijay Narayanan is also a Voice Culture Instructor for Light Music and Classical Musicians in the industry. He has been working as a Voice Culture Expert for nearly 8 years. His area of expertise is in teaching his students to develop depth in their voices while emphasising effortless rendering. Students are taught to sing without strain while practising their musical lessons. He has been promoted exclusively by NDTV News, The Hindu Newspaper, and other satellite TV partners such as SS TV, Polimer, Vasanth TV, and Raj Musix. He recently finished an album called "Pookkalil," which will be released soon.

Our plan combines Classical Music fundamentals, Voice Culture Training, and The Art of Film Music, as well as Physical, Mental, Social, and Spiritual well-being.
Each individual's voice is endowed with strength and a distinct style that can be fine-tuned to deliver the best within the scope of your voice capacity. If you look closely, you will notice that the natural voice texture, range, and style of Bhimsen Joshi, Kishore Kumar, Balamuralikrishna, MK Thyagaraja Bhagavathar, Mohamed Rafi, KJ Yesudas, SP Balasubramaniam, Naresh Iyer, and Hariharan (among many other great voices) are completely different. Nonetheless, they have their own unique place in music history for their own style & class, which are individually recognised and appreciated by a large audience.
We train our students to focus on developing the strength of their voice rather than succumbing to false comparison. We teach them that there is no limit to their ability to improve their voice and singing. The voice culture approach prepares you on how to nurture your voice so that it can perform at its best.
